Honestly, the way he looks in that pic is something I would really enjoy if I was still sixteen. Not a boy, not yet a man look is something teenagers usually like. Deanna, You are making my point in a round-about way. I said it was NOT about Cannes, if it was an act, it was not FOR the Cannes audience. The buzz I was referring to, again, was not Cannes buzz. They don’t have to physically be in LA or any other city for people to talk about them.
My only point was about you saying Cannes was not the place to showcase the epic wuv. Cannes is the world stage, everyone is watching. A whole lot of people spent the day yesterday talking about them, and not just the fandom.
While most people wouldn’t ordinarily care about Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart, you have to remember that they created a mystery and intrigue around this relationship;are they/ aren’t they. People are still curious and will talk. Case in point, Christina Ricci being recently asked if Kristen visited the set of Bel Ami. What the hell did that have to do with anything, other than the curiosity of the interviewer about the status of robsten?

I feel passionately when misunderstood or when you say something like “Just because you may not want to believe it, doesn’t make it any less true.”. To me, that was offensive, so yes, I reacted passionately and emotionally about that “accusation”.
As far as Rob goes, I’m emotionally distant from whatever the hell he and Kristen are doing. He doesn’t owe me anything, all he did was sell an image of himself, people bought it, and now he is showing something different. It sucks, but it’s what celebrities (athletes, actors, singers) and politicians do. They sell us an image or an idea. Similarly, Kristen has been trying to sell a variety of images, she seems to always be reinventing herself, from being “just a shy girl” to being “being a sex kitten” to now, “being a bookworm”. Nothing’s sticking, because none’s buying it.
I don’t think we’re having a heated discussion because I don’t feel angry. I felt offended by that one sentence only, because you got personal. The rest were just (not very) opposing views. No big deal. We are adults and should be able converse accordingly.
I don’t hard feelings towards you, Robsten is not worth being riled up over.
