Everyone who sees the film, says that it deals with the fall of capitalism. But when we shot it, nobody thought of that. For us, the movie was about the absurdity of power in general. The protagonist didn’t necessarily have to be a financial shark. But appropriately enough the “Occupy Wall Street” movement started just at that time. And the movie scenes that show the insurgents look like a reflection of the events.
Would you tried to join the Occupy movement since you already don’t have a great opinion of the financial world?
Absolutely. However, the people would think me hypocritical if I did that. Although I agree with many of the principles of this movement. Ever since working on this movie, I became even more sensitive to it, more aware.
It is so ridiculous that people who want nothing more than lead a normal life, have to work for minimal wage to do so, while a minority has so much money available, that they lost touch with it. For them it has become pure gambling. And the law has no meaning anymore.
Then I ask myself: Why do I vote at all anymore? The President has no say. It’s just typical that my character in the film has absolutely no idea who the President is. You become so successful that every aspect of life is only an abstraction. Even the success as such means nothing to you anymore.

We’ve read the ‘Hate Mail’ script and it’s definitely going to be an interesting movie! Here’s a breakdown of the characters, two of whom are played by Robert Pattinson and Scarlett Johansson.
Robert Pattinson hasn’t slowed down since the Twilight franchise, and now he’s reportedly signed on to a new movie with Scarlett Johansson called Hate Mail. HollywoodLife.com got an exclusive look at the script and although we don’t want to give too much away we have a few spoilers for you!
The movie is similar to that of Love Actually and Valentine’s Day in the multiple characters and storylines throughout the film that (in a way) come together at the end. However, a romantic comedy this is not. The film focuses on how different characters react to hate mail and it definitely has its dramatic moments. Here is a brief breakdown of the main characters. Our best guess after reading the script is that Rob will play Josh and Scarlett will play his girlfriend Kate, but there’s also a chance he could be Joel.
Kate (late 20s) and Josh (late 20s):
Kate and Josh are two good-looking actors in a serious relationship. They are starring in a Broadway show together, and Josh is a little insecure about it because he’s known more for being a movie star than a theater actor. here’s the latest from ABC news re: Bieber’s car escapades in the LA area… remember, the kid is 18 and hasn’t been driving for very long.. and check out his car.. a complete fame and attention whore… no one should be stalked, but this kid has the resources to work out options with his security team in advance to help manage these situations.. that’s what security teams are for.. PREVENTION….
and also to get a normal car that doesn’t attract so much attention .. or move OUT of la.. all viable choices for someone who courts the media and then whines when they come… no pity.. at all.. innocent people could have easily been killed….
in the u.s., driving is a privelege, NOT A RIGHT… get a driver..

It’s sad to think that with all the poor people out there rich people want to give these really expensive gifts to other rich people when they could have used that money for something else. The rich keep getting richer while the poor get poorer

I work close to the convention center. A co-worker said today “Edward is coming!” She said she didn’t like him enough to put up with all that screaming though. My thoughts exactly!
