Second best is not always bad ;)

So it seems we have more  Sulky McNoemotion film news. She is to star in Camp X Ray, can’t even imagine how or if that will turn out. Will that fade into oblivion like Cali and Focus for her? Time will tell. As for the next, Sils Maria, that is ready to go. It seems Mia W had that role but pulled out for MTTS and so Sulky got it, this is the second time she seemed to be second or third to a better actress. Mia also was front runner for the Big Shoe. It seems Tom signed on when Mia was technically attached, would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he got that call LOL. And for sheep thinking Rob or Tom got her the role because they had dinner with the writer all the way back in October are just plain stupid, no other words for you. Tom was probably working it for himself. And if that is the only way she can get roles is by sleeping with the director co stars talking for her, than that does not say much about her acting credibility does it? Not that I think she has any acting credibility whatsoever but that is my opinion. I found this interesting paragraph from thefilmstage.com so nobody thinks I am the only one with this opinion 😉

Thus, now, Sils Maria has undergone a notable switch of presence — a less-than-perfect one, at that, but doable nonetheless. If this move gets a wider berth of people experiencing Assayas‘ cinema without any compromises on his own part, a trade-off of sorts might as well be accepted.
