I had fun going from twitter to twitter lurking the reactions to Rob’s Dior Ad. It was wide spread! There was Diorgasm’s, ovaries exploding, Camille is a good kissing teacher and of course the bitter Krisbian hags that hate it and claim he sold out. I am sure sheep are somewhere in a corner hugging their Edward pillow talking themselves from jumping off the nearest cliff repeating “it’s not real, it’s not real.” We all know Edward and Bella was real 🙄
I think it was tasteful and fun to watch, but in the end it is just an ad like the other sexy, smoldering ad’s other actors have done. I am ecstatic for the true Rob fans and they deserve this moment, but all and all the earth is still round and spins.

IMO she wasn’t being neither provocative nor bitter only funny. Otherwise tell me why was Roberto dressed in the pool, in the bath or on the bed unless there’s something wrong with his body? lol. Gemma I really think Rob has a problem with his view of his body…on the one hand in interviews he has made fun of his skinniness and less than toned ‘abs’ and then he’s talking about his beer belly and having to hit the gym. I don’t get it…does he have ‘Body Dismorphia’ (don’t know if I spelt that correctly!) I think in the ad he looks the most toned/fit he’s ever looked. He is very slim, with long slender limbs lucky bugger!!! As an aside I cannot stand overly toned mens bodies…does not do a thing for me at all…in fact I find it rather off-putting. @Lyndyuk, Roberto seems to have some complexes with his body but he’s not very prone to go to the Gym, so he just keeps his clothes on, even in the Pool
He said he’s mostly shirtless in The Rover and he didn’t care so who knows? Maybe they didn’t want to pull out all the big guns yet. This is only the first ad after all. He might be shirtless in the spring/summer campaign. Or maybe he simply didn’t feel like running around in his underwear. Not because he’s not comfortable to show his body but maybe because it’s kinda embarrassing, especially for a man. It’s one thing when you do it in a movie but it’s something else if it’s a commercial on heavy rotation and you are famous.
Of course Robsten are bitter. This behavior is nothing new.

about Dior – oh boy! I didn’t had time for this kind of stuff last week so I just watched all of it today and I’m so excited! I really love the ad and I can’t what fot the part with the snow and all that – I think it will pop up for christmas… The elevator scene took me by surprise. I didn’t liked the pics of that scene but the scene now … Wow. Not really the kissing itself but the moments when they just LOOK at each other right before the kissing. If men watch the video it’ll be to watch her, and robsessed fans watch it millions of times because she makes it easy to “be” her.
Men, unless they are gay, will watch this only when they randomly stumble over it. Women will watch this multiple times because Robert Pattinson looks hot. They don’t even have to be Robsessed. Of course Nonberts and his ex-fans will make all kind of excuses claiming he’s not responsible for the success of the ad, just like the sheep will make all kind of excuses claiming the ad sucks. Too bad the ad speaks for itself.
Don’t be so bitter with us. Dior is one of the greatest brands in fashion and perfums. They don’t spare money on their publicity campaigns and regardless of who was in the ad, it was going to be tastefully done and successful as it is indeed. I’m being judgemental with Rob because deep down I can’t stand him (I confess it) but he has his part of responsibility for the success of the ad as it has everyone else involved in it…. only that he is not the right choice for me, but that is just my opinion.
However…. the real target of the ad is not getting millions of visits for the video, it’s selling Dior Homme. Of course if all the people watching the video buy the cologne, then Dior will put Roberto up on a golden pedestal

In germany mobilphonecameras are just alowed if they make a noise while used. That means if you make a pic with your mobil it must make a sound – like a click or something – no matter how quietly. If you get photographed on the streets in germany you actually need to give your acceptance for it beeing published. Except you are in a majour group so you kind of get lost in the mass. This has been a problem for google back then – when they did the pics for the street view. They ended up sending letters to houseowners. With a plea to make the owner of the house send in a letter for disagreeing with the picturetaking. If they didn’t answered it was taken as an allowance. We have a group that is always trying to protect the informations of privat persons online and in laws. (They make sure that new laws won’t be written in a way that they can’t be missused to steal informations etc.)
We have paps but they aren’t this extreme. As you can see – they don’t really sneek up on people. It was obvisious that the paps were there. If Kristen would have called the police they would have made the paps go away and delete the pics if she asked them. Something like this shit that had happened to Rob back then – when the paps followed him around all day and the police just did nothing – that would never happen in Germany. I guess we learned our lesson… and we learned it the hard way. That is actually one reason why I’m always shocked when I see people talking about themself in all detail online. We have a lot of tv shows that show how bad this can end and what you can do to not get into this. The most pics you will get from celebs on the street in germany would probably be fanpics. Because those idiots mostly don’t care about these rules.

I have always said Rob has a nice jaw and chin his profile in the tub was very nice to look at and their chemistry is great, what a great song too. I’m not from Berlin and I have just been there once for a very short time. But I traveled around Germany alot till now and I can tell you that people rarely wear caps here at all. They are not as common here as they seems to be in america. They are just used by a specific teenagegroup that as well wear their jeans to low to look at… or hobos. And you see them eaven less on women or girls. So people would look at her because of the cap I think – and not with a “oh that looks good” impression.
Couple people have ignored me on twitter today and I haven’t done anything wrong. Such a divide over some ad for a cologne. You’d think we were talking about something serious. That’s why I don’t discuss politics or religion…it’s a no win for either side.

We only need to look back on this blogs beginnings and see that there was a mix of opinions on r/k. They ranged from adoring rob to finding him comical to cant stand the fella. But we always found each others post funny and never disrespected ones view on rob himself or the showmance. It was all tongue in cheek humor. I don’t know why it can’t be like that now.
I just can’t hate the guy. I don’t know him. I like to be positive and funny. I’m just a girl who has opinions that shift with the winds but I try to be polite and respectful but sometimes I just get enough and I have to voice my thoughts.

The tone has become different here.i just can’t explain it in words it’s a feeling. If you go back and look at the very first board here there were many posters who adored rob. There was others who not so much but the tone was different. We had a good chuckle over those who adored rob. We joked with them and that was it.

He willingly put himself in this position. He admitted he wanted to be sexy so it wouldn’t be fair to criticize the people for only buying what he sells. But when I once pointed out the followers who claimed to dislike him were still physically attracted to him, I was told I was wrong. So Rob will be part of a movie about James Dean? BUT NOT AS James Dean? THATs what I would call weird decsision!
He is so often compared to James and he really has the looks for that. I’m sure he would nail it. And this other guy Dane – I watched the Cronicle and the movie was just aweful! The idea was good but the actors were sooo bad!
I looked for a pic of the photographer. They can’t be SERIOUS! If you wanne put those two guys in those roles you put Rob as Dean. Point blank. Everything else would look ridiculus!
They must have messed up the roles. The face of the photographer fits Dane but not Rob.
I was surprised too, jm! But then I just looked at this photo of the 2 of them back then…and I can see it. I wonder if Rob wanted the part of James Dean. Maybe he didn’t? Dane Dehaan has been in several other movies and gotten good reviews – Kill Your Darlings, with Daniel Radcliffe most recently. Critics seem impressed with him.
I think the other actor could look like James Dean, more than Rob, but he looks too young. I know JD was actually younger than him but he looked older and this guy looks like a teenager to me, even though he’s 27. By the time they start shooting, perhpas he’ll look less boyish.
