In other words, you make a choice and stand by your beliefs and actions that arise from said choice. You can learn from your mistakes. But in all honesty, this wasn’t a mistake. You don’t accidentally have an affair with a married man, you choose to. So I can only deduce that she is ok with what she did and has no regrets.

Obviously, things have calmed down now, although her recent comments aren’t going to help Kristen’s case much. Kristen told Marie Claire, “I stand by every mistake I’ve ever made, so judge away. You don’t know who you will fall in love with. You just don’t. You don’t control it.”
Oh boy. I’m seized by a sudden urge to remind her that not only did she cheat on her loving and clearly devoted boyfriend, but that she broke up a longtime marriage and home – just because she couldn’t ‘control’ it. While I agree that it’s sometimes difficult to control who you fall for, you absolutely can and SHOULD control your impulses, especially when whoever you fall ‘in love’ with has another family.
Of course, she would stand by her mistakes, wouldn’t she? What is she going to say now? ‘Sorry I cheated on my boyfriend, ruined my career, hooked up with a married man, and broke up his marriage and his home?’ No, of course not. As a Rob fan, it hurt a bit that he got involved in a faux romance with a cheating lying homewrecker. We dont know what went down in the early years of twilight why Rob agreed to this. Still, I would like to think that somehow Rob felt something for her in the few years they have been “together”, perhaps even becoming close friends with her and gained Rob’s loyalty but K threw it all away by cheating and publicly humiliating him. Great thing Rob seemed to have moved on from the cheater and hopefully he learned valuable lessons from this arrangement.
Lorraine I don’t deny he might have had a crush on her in the beginning but I don’t think it lasted much, unluckily for him by that time Robsten was a big thing for fans and for Summit and he just got carried away and played along. After the cheating, IMO he got forced to go on the farce till Twilight was over because his attitude was pretty different, he looked totally uncomfortable though he played his part till the end.
