No matter how many tweets they tried to put her there, she was NOT. However Rob was and he was with his friends including Katy Perry. He looked happy and relaxed, not being papped every 5 minutes and not shooting water guns in pink shorts, because the mini ho was not there, might have made the difference. Rob DANCED with Katy and there was video!
Then the MTTS trailer came out today and fans were happy little campers. Oh and a still of mini ho came out too, not excited? Yea me either. If I want to see Bella staring at wood, I will just rent BD, thank you very much.

Long time DC fan…seen every film he’s ever made. Cronenberg is quite subjective, a lot like David Lynch and Quentin Tarintino in his earlier days…..you either get it or you don’t. For me, it’s always been “what don’t you get people…sheer genius at its finest?”

Give Cosmopolis a try Lisa. If nothing else, the last 20 minute scene with Rob & Paul Giamatti is fantastic. Of course Paul acted Rob off the screen in that scene…BUT…it’s where I had my “AHA” moment with Rob. Given the right script and director….the kid’s got a lot of potential…imo

The whole dialoges are so poetic and funny at the same time.
It just shows the ironie of life. And I know that there have been people who claimed Rob was to stone-like but he really isn’t. He said that the character feels at home in the limo but like an alien outside of it – and he totaly translated it on the screen. Why he got “acted on the wall” by Giamatti – because it was meant to be this way. He felt trapped and he was supposed to be helpless in the situation but you are not supposed to feel for him. He was an asshole and he gained his faith. So in my eyes Rob wasn’t played at the wall – he gave Giamatti the space he needed.
Hey Dorothy, respectfully disagreeing with Paul acted off Rob from the last scene of Cosmopolis 🙂 In my humble opinion, Rob went toe to toe with a great seasoned actor and Rob came out with flying colors! I do think both did an awesome performance in the last 20 mins and complemented each other that resulted in that epic scene.
just me – agree, but Paul Giamatti was brilliant in Cosmopolis, and rightfully so, the man is an incredible actor. I will give it up to Rob, he certainly held his own, up against a giant like Giamatti.
He earned my respect taking on not only a Cronenberg film, but to carry an entire Cronenberg film by appearing in every second of the movie. My propers to him…

Sorry I’ve been MIA for most of the past week, but it’s the Easter holidays here in the UK, and because my kids have been at their dads for a few days, I decided to get some decorating done. I also notice that Snowy is lying low apart from getting caught smoking her bong and drinking beer. I wonder what that’s going to TGC that she’s supposed to be carrying, (hasn’t her due date just about been and gone according to HKN?). Sony ~ mmmmm…Prosecco. My in-laws bring cases of it back from Italy every year. Put bread, olive oil straight from Sicily to dip it in, a bowl of fresh figs, and a bottle of Prosecco in front of my father n’ law…and he’s as happy as a pig in shit.

Give me some roasted bread with a bit of olive oil on it and some finely chopped tomatoes, garlic and basil and I promise I won’t share my bottle of Prosecco with anyone, LOL

I liked what i have seen of the rover and maps, but rob’s roles are been overblown when they’re just supporting parts, and just like kstew really. barely mentions of Guy, Binoche, and julianne in the press right now.
