Great post Lisa. I’m convinced that HKN and her ilk are consciously doing what they’re doing which makes me angry. OMG! Gladly I found this website,I was thinking all the Nonstens were extincted. Well, I was one of the members ofthe old nonsten forum and have being away from all the robsten/twilight nonsense since mid 2010. I had no idea Kristen had cheated on Rob until last month when I watched some doc at the E! channel…out of curiosity I googled some robsten websites I could remember but most of them don’t exist anymore but I was quite surprised and sad with what I found it. They still believe robsten is an epic love and that Rob is the one doing the PR game now..and the saddest thing for me was seeing how much time of their lives they have invested on that relationship. Some were saying they had no idea what to do now as they spent 4 years so devoted to rob and kristen. I’m looking back and realized I did so much stuff during all those years(moved countries,got a master degree,backpacked Asia) whilst they spent their lives in front of a computer. I’m not sure what I think of the cover. This magazine almost always tries to make something different and while I think it can be a bit too much at times, at least it’s not boring/standard.
FKA Twigs dealt with the personal questions in a charming and approachable way, although I found the “sad” comment by the interviewer a bit uncomfortable (not Twigs’ answer – because, what are you supposed to say to that? – just the comment). Or maybe it just seems that way to me, because I haven’t read the comment in the context of the whole interview.

Well immediately after the picture came out, sheep started saying that K was probably there as well but didn’t want any pictures. No matter what you throw at them they seem to come up with a ‘perfectly valid’ explanation for it that only makes sense to them.
Nutty Nicole, SRWN and guess who else, saying Rob was at the Thanksgiving party in Malibu with friends and Kristen. SP was there too..thus the smile. Of course, they are married, own a house in a Malibu together and he left twigs high and dry on the holiday.

I went to the girls Facebook page and read … “celebrating thanksgiving with Robert pattinson and sitting in front of him at the table.” If Kristen was at that party, around him, especially sitting next to him, this girl would have noticed and posted about it for sure!!

Of course she would, anyone would. Rob has refused to be anywhere near KS for over a year now, he made that clear at Cannes and the HFA telecast. He’s not hiding anything, he’s happy with Tahliah and as Brits, they don’t even celebrate Thanksgiving.
I’m sure Rob willl either meet up with her in Chicago or some other tour stop, or she’ll got back to his house in LA as soon as her tour is over. And of course they’ll both go to London in December, that’s where their family and friends are.
TomStu’s birthday is at the end of the first week of December, maybe we’ll get pics of them all celebrating together. And I’m hoping he’ll take her to his local pub on Xmas eve, and we get pics and tweets about it. And I’m not shipping, it would just be poetic justice to see Rob take her there, since he never took Stew there. I don’t think his family was ever wild about that relationship. I think his sisters liked Nikki more than they ever liked Stew, and they should be wild about Tahliah since she’s musical and appears to know how to treat Rob right.

I just watched Still Alice in my PC… Julianne Moore gives an impressive and heartbreaking performance absolutely Oscar worthy. Alec and Kristen come after Julianne regarding screen time, so Stewie has quite a lot of scenes actually. Alec’s character is quite strong and steady, no drama for him till practically the end, when he cries over Stewie’s shoulder.
As for Stewie… her first scenes are so disappointing. She doesn’t become her character, she is Kristen Stewart saying some lines she learnt by heart, just like in Sils… Kristen’s tomboy mannerism, Kristen’s fast way of speaking and Kristen’s lack of expressivity. Only when the movie gets to its ending, you can see a few moments when she shows some emotion… is it Oscar worth? Not at all, IMO.
I’ve seen JenLaw in THG, Serena, Silver …, American Hustle. All of them different roles but she’s believable in each one of them. Through her eyes, voice and mannerism she can express pain, desperation, confidence, sense of humour… Jen is growing as an actress. Kristen got stuck somewhere along her way and she’s becoming a boring actress, IMO, of course.

As for Alec. He is there at the beginning because of the BD Party. And yes a slightly bigger part and more significant. After all he is an actor (like it or not) that can more then pull his weight in a film and God knows he can act unlike the Plank.

I’ve seen SA, and Julianne is fantastic, but then, the whole film is about her. I think KStew has a very small part. In the first 45 minutes she’s only on screen in 2 scenes for a total of 5 minutes.
Any actress could have played her part, it’s not significant or extraordinary, and she does nothing with it. She plays the hipster daughter who refuses to go to college and just wants to be an actress. No wonder they thought of her for the role, lol.
She’s just playing herself, she never develops a real character. She bites her lip, blinks excessively, breathes loudly, shakes and fidgets, plays with her hair and exhales loudly, says a line and then sucks in a huge breath of air. And the head shaking before saying a line is out of control.
Any Oscar buzz she’s had out of this has been bought and paid for. No one with a brain would look at her performance and think it was anything special at all. Variety just posted their list of the top 12 Best Supporting Actress picks, and she wasn’t on it. The Independent Spirit Awards snubbed her in favor of Emma Stone. I will eat my hat if she gets an Oscar nomination.
I agree with all of you, Katy, Kell, Olivia, Lisa, Jaguar. This movie, if not for the outstanding Julianne Moore’s performance, could be one of those movies you use to watch on TV. She alone saves this movie, no one else and not anything else.
I watched it because I’m interested in the Alzheimer subject as it’s work related, I also wanted to see Julianne’s performance and wanted to check if KStew’s work could be worth a nomination.
The illness subject was rightly developed and Julianne’s work shows me she has invested time searching about Alzheimer and she has had to speak with people who is suffering this illness since her performance is remarkably genuine.
KStew’s role? I might have developed a better performance than her and I am not an actress. I missed more screen time for the brother, I think he might have showed more emotion than KStew, if he had had it. KStew’s work shows no emotional investment, no research about the subject of the movie. Like she uses to tell in interviews, I’m certain she went to the filming set a couple of hours before for make up and dressing stuff and in the mean time she learnt her lines by heart to deliver them ala KStew half an hour later. Period.

Yeah…after all that buzz, I’m very disappointed. I don’t think Kristen’s horrible, she’s just not excellent or even noteworthy. Her ticks are very prominent in some scenes (and don’t really fit the character), but I liked her scene backstage and, of course, the scene everyone seems to praise (the “Angels of America” one).
I just have no idea who Lydia is, partly because I wasn’t sure where to draw the line between Kristen and her character. For example, I thought the play was bad, but I don’t know if Lydia is supposed to be a bad actress (I don’t think so?!), or if Kristen didn’t know how to handle the scene…And if she’s a bad actress and her family knows, it would change their arguments about her profession etc. It’s not really important for the story, but still…
That scene wasn’t my only problem, though: This movie left me oddly unaffected. I found the script and the direction lacking. And I absolutely hated the score’s use. Moore is really very good in this and I won’t argue, if/when she wins the Oscar, although I kind of wish she would get it for a better movie. And, to be honest, I don’t think she gave the best performance of her career…or that she gives the best performance of this year’s contenders…But she’s overdue and that’s what will get her the Oscar, in my opinion.
I know there hasn’t been a ‘Best Actress’ in a while who was the sole nomination for her movie, but I don’t see ‘Still Alice’ getting (and deserving) anything else. At least right now…Maybe the script will get in. I hope not. I still put Kristen in 10th place of potential nominees (before, I had her in 8th place), just because of Julianne + SPC.

I’ve just watched Still Alice and I liked the movie , Julianne Moore is really good and I can see her getting nominated(not winning tho)..as for Kristen, well…dunno is it was the character but the whole time I was thinking that it looks like her mom got a cold or broke a leg..something like that. All the others were clearly worried but Lydia couldn’t care less. The last scene is her only “good” scene..but Julianne knocked her acting out with one word. I don’t see kristen get any nomination for this, it wasn’t impressive or relevant and some websites are saying the category is full already…plus you have Meryl Streep in Into The Woods. My bets for supporting actress are: Keira Knightley , Patricia Arquette(winner), Meryl Streep, Emma Stone and Jessica Chastain.

Rob was just nominated for Best Supporting Actor by the Australian version of the Oscars or BAFTAs, the AACTA awards. The ceremony takes place Jan. 29th. The Rover got a total of 7 awards, and Guy is up against Russell Crowe for Best Actor. This is good timing, with the Golden Globe nominations coming up in about 10 days.
Funny, Rob got this without a big, fake PR campaign or a push by a studio. On his own merit. If Stewie ever gets nominated for anything it will be because it was bought and paid for, not on her own merit.
