It seems their time in NY was surrounded by friends and family. Between the Red Nose event and T’s amazing performance (Rob bopping his head to his lady’s music) and the reappearance of the Brit pack! The last few days have been filled with so many goodies.
To us sane people we see the normalcy of this couple, however, HKN felt obligated to post another insane, unintelligent blog post. Personally I could careless if the psycho posts, but my readers care, and I care about what they want. A journalist wrote about how crazy she and her cult following are. It’s nice when others validate you regarding someone’s lack of reality. I heard she blew up over it. All I can do is laugh. She at one point called me the joke of the internet? Um I am not the one that have journalists asking to evaluate my sanity. I don’t write about fake contracts, babies, marriages and rings. Sadly, hkn and the baby brigade is a thing of the past, they’ve been called out for the nuts they are. I say sadly, because a new monster has reared it’s head, the “save rob” brigade. Made up of fans who know there is no secret baby/marriage, but have started a smear campaign against twigs and rob all for the sake of being worried about him sooo much. I see them in her twitter feed daily, in various languages spouting crap about his health and career, because he’s not living his life they way they want him to.
At least with the baby brigade their numbers are dwindling and they seem more isolated on their own blogs. With this new movement, they’re on twitter trying to get the tabs involved, spreading rumors about rob, directly tweeting twigs to bully her, and stalking people outside the fandom for info to justify their garbage.
Twitter and instagram have become a new medium for the robsteners who can’t let go.

It wouldn’t be so bad if they kept it between themselves, then left you with the choice to look at it or not. When they @ her, you don’t have much of a choice to see it and if she ever checks her mentions, she’ll see it as well. That’s what really bugs me about it. It’s really sad how she’s back off social media. She used to post little private moments, respond to fans, and behind the scenes, but no more or rarely.
Funnily a handful of them started to be fans of tinashe because she’s always been compared to twigs for some reason. They find her more “acceptable”. They aren’t fooling anyone, if rob got with her, they would insult her just as much as twigs. She dances just a sexually, appeared nude in the same magazine, and everything. The same I suspect with zoe kravitz. But that’s only a handful, both these women have a strong fanbase on their own merits.

Love this blog. I didn’t know it existed until I read Datalounge and they had a link for it on one of their crazy HKN theories. Rob and T are very strong within their relationship. He has told her what to expect with the fans and I know at first it hurt her very much with all the ugliness from K fans, and no, I don’t think a true Rob fan had anything to do with the ugly tweets and IG to Twigs. I hope they get married so it will shut the haters up, but then again, it will give them more ammunition to spew their hate for the next 10 years, meanwhile, R/T will go living their rich and famous lives.

The point of KS being in Atlanta and Rob being in LA is that the BabyBrigade can’t say he’s MIA with her. And have you forgotten the blurry pics of KS on the road outside of Rob’s old rental house, with someone who was supposedly him following in another car?
That’s what I mean by a photo op. I would put nothing past her. So if she could manage to get something that looked like her and him within 20 feet of each other, her stewpid fans would spin that to them being together, even though he’s engaged to Twigs.
Why do you think he skipped the red carpet at the Hollywood Awards? He didn’t want even a pic of him on the same red carpet with her to get out their and give anyone the idea that they were even speaking. He never even sat in the audience. He stayed backstage, made his presentation and escaped, with his dignity.
Rob knows if they are ever seen to be talking, meeting, or even near each other that the tabloids will run with that so fast it would make your head spin. Hello All. Long time lurker, first time poster. I watched the long video FKAfan put up in Lisa’s last post re:Congregata. The respect and love the dancers had for Twigs just shone! While I do not particularly care for her type of music, I don’t hate it either. What seems obvious to me is that she is talented with charisma to spare. There is a certain cutting edge New York/London artsy feel to her work. It’s no wonder the elderly Twihards have difficulty understanding it, sitting in their little rooms in Ohio, Oklahoma etc.
The disconnect between their dream Edward and real person named Robert Pattinson who attends and loves these show is as wide as the Grand Canyon. Edward and Bella would never attend that show or any of Twigs concerts. Too busy cuddling up at home singing lullabies to the kiddies, wrapped up in their small life in a small town.
IMO a poster awhile got it right when she broke down the main groups/players in Twillight and compared them to the main groups/players in the fandom.
I watched 20 minutes of Twilight. Was never a fan. You guys have educated me as far as the goings on of the cast during that time. It does seem that Kristen has earned the dislike many (me) have for her honestly. FKATwigs not so much.

A part of me thinks that kristen doesn’t dislike twigs as much as some of her rabid fans try to make it out to be. If alicia posted that pic of twigs then I suspect she at least likes her music. It’s never too late for her to open her mouth regarding something other than how “down to earth she is” and address this bullying that’s being done in her name. According to the some ppl that hotel has a strict policy to protect celebs that go there. She deleted the pic for violating the rules and chances are she may not be allowed to return. That’s what I was told anyways.
If she really did turn her ankle, then it looks like her parading for the paps backfired. A sprained ankle can put her out of commission for weeks. She finished her part in the Billy Long movie. It’s their acting chops, box office cred, and their ability to draw an audience is the only factor when it comes to the hard hitting films.

Yeah, kristen has big competition not just from her peers, but up and coming actresses. The only reason I don’t think she’s gonna completely disappear is due to her family connections in the industry, ruthless ruth as you guys call her ;), and karl still up her butt. I read somewhere that sometimes celebs are given stuff like this, but they’re not allowed to keep it. It’s given for a few photo ops or they rent it, then they have to return it. Rob wears a pair of Dior shades once in a while, but he wears a dozen different kinds, depending on what he feels like, not because Dior has paid him to wear them. He wears shades, unlike KS, who never carries a bag. This Chanel guitar case is really over the top. She has zero credibility.
On the career front, she did shoot herself in the foot with Rupert. At the time, she was the queen of two franchises, Twilight and SWATH. She had films lined up, Cali, Focus and The Big Shoe, all starring roles. She was the romantic lead in all of them. Focus was for Warner Bros., SWATH for Universal. Those are two studios who I doubt will employ her for a long time. She cost them money, and they never forget that.
The films she’s “comeback” in are not her films. She’s the supporting player, not the romantic lead. They’re low budget indies, not studio films. She’s still in the game, but she’s a minor player, compared to the career she had before her cheating. She would have been up for the roles Vikander and Robbie are getting now if she hadn’t been exposed with Rupert. No one would know what she was doing now if not for her PR team planting multiple stories about her in every publication that will play ball with them.

I saw Ex-Machina…..the little I remember, Alicia was really good….the reason I can’t remember much – I had 6 mimosa before hand. Overall Stewy wouldn’t have been able to bring the innocent, curious yet cunning vibe to the character if she was cast in this role.
I do believe Stewy is a paparazzi favorite but not a studio or box office fave. The French Oscar & Still Alice buzz will help with critics watch her next role but its seems most are over her. From what I gather they feel she’s a hit or miss and starting to write her off.

I fully agree. I was reading about ceos and executives at movie studios and rarely a movie gets put into production just from a convincing pitch. Studios want to take the easy way. The marketers they hire don’t seem to be trying to market original movies to an audience. They want an easy packaged audience like jurassic park, where they already know who the consumer is and how to market to them.
They don’t want to seem to take the time to find a demographic to promote to. Because that takes too much time and work. And the more indie theaters that close down, the more scarce it gets to view them. Those are my thoughts anyways.
I think we’ve been more than patient and we continue to get…nothing. It’s become more obvious that he’s no longer a part of The Trap. A month ago, he and Pacino were listed as rumoured on imbd. Since then, Pacino’s been confirmed and Rob has been removed completely.
As for indie’s, many (most) successful and Oscar bait films are indie’s as of late, so that’s not the issue. The difference in those and the ones that barely see a tiny art house release, if they get made at all is a seasoned cast, a hard hitting distributor, and a reputable SUCCESSFUL director. I’m sorry but being considered an Auteur director is just a fancy way of saying my creative control/vision has gotten my films, my actors, and myself absolutely nowhere.
If Rob has no interest in big budget studio films which imo..is less about only wanting to do small indies that no one see’s (bullshit) and more about him not landing those roles.
But for arguments sake, lets’s believe that’s true. If so, he needs to spend his energy fighting for those top shelf level indie’s…not the lower leveled third tier ones.

Fair point! I have to remind myself I wasn’t around in the beginning when he was first announced for these projects. Jaguar is right that imdb gets things wrong occasionally. I don’t know exactly who controls what info that gets put up there. It does say that it’s not slated for 2017, I think before it was 2016, then 2015 for filming. So if the new date is correct, there’s a chance he could a of dropped out himself to concentrate on a different project. Just to stay a little positive.
I don’t know completely how it works. But if he had it lined up for filming , then it gets pushed back, that leaves empty time he could’ve had for another project. That’s screws up his schedule and keeps him from signing on to other films because he’s supposedly meant to be on set. Imo, I would get tired of it and just focus on getting one with a bit chance of not getting pushed back. I know he really wants to work with that director, but yeah….
PR rep gets my vote, though I think if he attended more red carpet events, it does just as good a job. Walk out in a dior suit, say a few words, get papped, and then move on. Every time he’s done the red carpet, despite not back-to-back filming, he’s gotten great media buzz. The mags seem to go crazy over him returning to carpet, I think he should take advantage of that.

Rob himself confirmed he’s still in The Trap and IMDB means nothing. He’s still listed on regular IMDB, they just haven’t properly updated the Pro version. There is zero reason that he wouldn’t be doing that film. He’s friends with Harmony, the part was written for him. Unless he has another film lined up that would conflict with the filming schedule, he’s still attached.
And it’s also bullshit to call directors like Cronenberg, Herzog and Korine lower level third tier anything. FFS, they teach these directors in film school at USC. The are reputable and successful. They aren’t mainstream, commercial directors and it’s silly to try to compare them to directors who are.
So people are just too impatient. Rob will be making TLCoZ for Paramount, that’s a big studio and it’s an action/adventure film. That should be mainstream enough for most of you. He’s 29, he has the time to work on the kinds of films he wants to do. If he were 39 you might have some reason to be concerned, but as it is, no.
He’s not ever going to be the kind of romantic leading man in mainstream movies that some of you crave. That’s not his interest and he has enough money that he doesn’t ever have to take a role he’s not interested in. It’s also bull shit to think he’s not being offered these roles.

Just today the trades had a story about Cannes, and how social media mentions were way down this year, compared to last year when Robert Pattinson was there. They specifically called out Rob as the main reason more people were aware of what went on at Cannes last year, and why they didn’t pay attention this year.

And what directors are really paying attention to, is not some Online popularity contest of Cannes red carpet. No, they’re paying attention to the actors that are constantly filming and promoting films 8 months out of the year. Films that actually turn a profit, draw an audience, a male audience not just a small handful of ovary exploding Robsessed. As well as the actors who receive acclaim that only escalates with every movie they turn out.
You can spin this all you want, but Rob’s films are nowhere near the calibre of the others. And the mediocre roles he does land, he either has a very small role, they’re constantly pushed back, back, or they never materialize. Now, I’m sure these other actors have had many films that never panned or waiting upon. But the truth is, you’d never know it, because they are constantly filming something else.
And I don’t buy into the theory that he’s probably focusing on his relationship with it being new and all. The rest of these guys have wives and small children, which is a much bigger sacrifice when they’re off filming and promoting.

Neither Redmayne, Garfield, Eisenberg, Hedlund, or Hoult have the name recognition or the billion $ box office receipts Rob does, and that counts. That’s what producers think about.
Fassbender, Garfield, Hoult, Gossling, and Cumberbatch are all just as known for their relationships (and in at least 2 cases, very questionable behaviors). If you want to claim that’s what Rob’s known for now, it can apply to all of them. And Cumberbatch, even though married and about to have a baby, has just a crazy fanbase as Rob’s ex does. And it doesn’t hurt any of their careers, so that’s really a non-factor.
Plus, aside from the fans of his crazy ex, the media coverage of Rob and Twigs has all been positive. NY Times, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Glamour, Elle, even Martha Stewart run nothing but positive stories about them. CDL lies about everyone, they don’t count. Rob is not on the cover of OK!, InTouch, Life&Style, the real rags.
Cosmopolis and The Rover are in the same calibre of films as anything Redmayne, Garfield or Eisenberg has done and far better than anything Hedlund or Hoult have done. Not in commercial terms, but certainly in terms of quality. And they both built his male fanbase.
Do you think Fincher is looking for an actor who is making 5 films a year? I don’t. Rob was cast in Brimestone because Koolhoven saw him in The Rover. He didn’t have to audition, he didn’t have to do anything but let his work speak for itself. That’s what matters to directors, not how many films you made last year. Directors are impressed with the quality of directors he’s already worked with.
They have all have films fall apart due to financing or script problems or many other things. They are in the business, they are more concerned that Rob is a good actor rather than him churning out crap just to have something to do.
I’ve always thought he could use a PR rep just to show that he’s willing to play the game (not speak for him or try to make him look like something he’s not). But he’s not ready to do that yet and he many never be ready.

Yeah, I may have jumped the gun with Garret Hedlund there. But if he can knock out a descent performance in the Billy Long film, it may be a game changer for him.
You’re right, actors don’t need to be pounding out a plethora of films (mainly shit ones) every year. But whether they’re doing 2 or 12 films a year…all they need is that one of the where they kill it and all the filler garbage ones are long forgotten. Prime example “Aloha”. In noway will the failures and all the controversy around that film will impact Bradley or Emma negatively, because you know they’re going to knock it out of the park in future projects. I guess I just want that luxury for Rob. Where his career can sustain taking a hit here and there because his resume of great performances and critical acclaim speaks enough to offset any backlash.
I also agree that not everyone is so lucky to have a successful franchise as Twilight. Most never even come close up. But unless you can hold the public’s attention (and their money) beyond that franchise, roles will eventually pass you by..even the smaller one’s that interest Rob. Case in point, Hunger Games made bank..but so do Jen’s movies outside of the franchise. That in itself, guarantees that a large majority of great scripts already have had her fingerprints on them before they circulate.
If only Rob can get in the game a little more than he is currently is, he can avoid becoming ” whatever happened to that twilight guy?” fate.

I think Rob is a very deliberate person, he won’t be rushed into anything, and he may regret it later, but he’s stubbornly going down the path he wants to take. Honestly, I think he may be something like 35 before he hits his stride in films.
And the way the business is, he can make a couple small films a year for the next few years before doing that. Hedlund is a good example, because he’s been making flop after flop and yet he still manages to get cast in something new. He has never broken out, even though he’s had many chances.
I don’t know if you saw Inside Llewyn Davis, but he was literally in that film for 5 minutes and had 2 lines of dialog. But he did it just to work with the Coen brothers. Sam Claflin is another one. He keeps getting cast but really makes no impression. He’s never broken out. I feel like he and Theo James and a couple of other guys are getting the parts that Rob has turned down (for whatever reason).
I know Rob turned down the lead in The Riot Club, that got out at the time they were casting. There were a couple of other parts he recently turned down, but I’m sure there are dozens we don’t hear about.
Bradley Cooper is 40, and has had a lot of success, but Serena flopped and Aloha does not look good. Cooper’s private life is messy though, I think probably because he’s focused on his career. It’s really hard to find a balance between work and career, and in this respect, I think Rob having so much time off has been a good thing.
People also seem to forget that Rob worked from 2008 to 2011 with hardly a break. He went from the set of Twilight to RM, to NM to Bel Ami, to Eclipse to WFE to BD1&2 to Cosmpolis with hardly a week off for four years. Anyone who says he’s lazy or not hard working is a liar.

That’s something I get he and twigs have in common. They’re both very set on what their vision for their career is and won’t be told otherwise. She’s made it clear in many interviews that she aims to do what she wants, no matter if people have trouble understanding it or not. They both seem to lean more towards the art of the work, than just the work. Does that make sense?
Even though a few slammed her for working for google, she expressed that there are times when you have to open yourself up to new opportunities and not try to act you’re too “cool” for it. I get that same feeling with rob and dior. They both worked for those companies and got to control the creative input that went into the commercials.
I think he’ll be fine so long as the stuff he’s signed on to right now actually happens. If they don’t, he’s going to need a game plan. The momentum from The Rover will only last so long.
Just to show that Rob is not the only one who’s film calendar changes abruptly, Henry Cavill has pulled out of action-thriller “Stratton,” five days before shooting was to begin, due to “creative differences” on the script.
“Stratton,” based on the first of a series of 8 novels by Duncan Falconer, had been set to start filming on June 2 in London and Rome with Simon West directing.
This is really interesting because this was the first of 8 novels in this series, which was clearly aimed to be an spy/action franchise. And to pull out 5 days before filming starts does not help an actor’s reputation. Makes them seem tempermental and unreliable.
But of course, it isn’t Rob, so the trolls over at GC will ignore it and go on lying about Rob’s career.
Would be nice to see more of this saturating the Internet when it comes to Rob and less about his personal life.

That is a good article, and another thing that’s good about it is that the writer wanted to write something about Rob on his own, it wasn’t fed to him by a PR team. Rob is on their radar all the time, they don’t have to be fed something to try and make him look good.

I’m not the only one who’s noticed that Hedlund just hasn’t gone anywhere, even though he’s had many chance Also, if 5 years is the point where people start to notice that you haven’t made a mark, Rob still has several years to go. No one needs to start worrying about his career until 2018 by that measurement.
I think part of the reason is our youth oriented culture. Hollywood seems to be dropping the age lower and lower to when someone has reached their “peak”. Where the ages 23 & up is considered “old”, and child stars are worked to death. There’s no time to stop and work on their craft. Everything is about getting as much as you can done, as quickly as you can and keeping up the momentum once you’ve reached fame. Tom hardy said in an interview that he was relieved and surprised that he’s been in the game so long, but it wasn’t until he got with christoper nolan, that he started to gain some mainstream fame. He was in his early to mid 30s during that time.
But 30s is not too late, he had time experiment with roles and become the type of actor he is today. It’s hollywood that puts that idea in their head that they’re “has beens”. There are some talented teens and adults in their 20s, but many of them still need to work on their acting. They either get typecasted, which allows them to coast by as long as the audience stays interested, but they’re easily replaceable. Or they’re unable to perform the more challenging roles because they’re too green.
Ugh. I just saw the preview for Kristen’s new movie with Jessie. She plays the same character over and over again. Same tics, same flat,clipped delivery of lines. I wish another actor had replaced her because the premise of the movie looks fun to me.

Jessie isn’t a big deal to me either. He’s like the male version of kristen. Remember when hollywood love micheal cera for a cool minute? He played the same character every movie! Even with comedies it gets old pretty quickly. I like seth rogen, but if the focus was just on him, then his movies would get dull. Luckily, he knows how to cast and spread the jokes amongst his co-stars.

I feel really bad for t-pain, he tried to back track, but it was too late. Lots of ppl slip up now and then, but most don’t have it done on the media. The way media twists things, it was best she didn’t go into details about it, otherwise who knows what would have been spun about how she feels regarding t-pain. That’s no one’s business.
I really feel for the rob fans when the media generalizes, but I don’t know how much can be done about it. I’m really happy that these nuts are getting called out and she tells the truth when asked about it. I just wish sometimes they would run with other things she’s said about herself as an artist. Matt Irwin is the photographer and I think the photoshoot was done while Twigs was in the UK (after she came back from her European tour) filming her Glass & Patron video.
and i didn’t notice she was wearing her engagement ring. I also just recently saw some pics of Twigs backstage getting her hair and makeup done for her Congregata shows in NYC and she’s sitting in a chair wearing workout clothes and she’s got her engagement ring on.

New tour dates for Twigs were released yesterday, and she’s cleared the month of August. She did have shows scheduled, but they’ve all been moved. Now why would she arrange to have the whole month of August free? Things that make you go hmmm….
Yes, KS got extensions in Atlanta when she worked for 3 days on the Ang Lee movie. She’s going to be in that one even less than she was in Still Alice.
Her whole part consists of talking on the phone with her brother. She has no other scenes (if you’ve read the book, you know). She plays the whiny brat sister who tries to get her brother to do something dishonorable. Another part where she’s just playing herself, and it’s so small and insignificant, it was turned down by 4 other actresses, she wasn’t first choice.
Rob went to another screening of Heaven Knows What on Friday night, and it’s produced by the same guy who’s producing The Trap. I’m thinking he’s still attached to The Trap, otherwise the producer wouldn’t want him at this screening if he was no longer doing it.
