I wouldn’t want to evoke any evil…I think we might be on the safe side when no pics of her leaving from LAX this afternoon will pop up in the next hours because it is a 14-16 h flight with at least one stop from L.A. to Berlin.
The idots over on the AT are already making excuses. They are pathetic. The think they can will this fake romance into existence. Not gonna happen. I honestly think they are great friends who do hang out with eachother. Rob is either with someone else, guy or girl? Probably a guy. Or he’s just single and having casual sex with whomever. We’ll probably never know.
What is with these two cheeks? With the luggage? Seriously! Do these 2 not have their own ANYTHING? I have 3 or 4 duffles of my own, but my (ex) husband also has that many of HIS own. I cant ever recall a time where I needed or just wanted to borrow his. And the clothes sharing is beyond ridiculous. They’re not teens any more. Do they not realize how silly this is?
Wth ever. They deserve each other. At the very least, Im sure they feel completely safe with each other, since they’re both gay. I wonder if Booby wears her little training bras around the house, and her tiny string panties. Maybe Tom’s into that.

Lisa, I’m pretty sure that is not a prototype bag so there are many in exsistance & why when have we never seen KS or RP luggage with airport tags yep I fly both business & first class & without check in tags on your luggage even carry on it is forbidden on the flight international flying rules except if a private plane is used & is all got to do with customs laws 😉
Regardless if the flight is domestic or international check in tag on luggage is a must & you cannont remove them until you are off airport property either

Well another average/lower review. Oh and Victoria Pattinson is going to support her brother that is sweet;)
But Pattinson himself is a problem as Duroy. He displays the character’s ruthlessness adequately and his wolfish smile is a useful weapon in his regard. But he seems ill-at-ease in terms of playing a period role. It’s not that he’s a bad actor, but he looks very much a contemporary young man in a historical context; his body language is too casual and informal for the social circles in which Duroy makes his moves. (The thought occurs that his next role, playing a young Manhattan money-market tycoon in David Cronenberg’s adaptation of Don deLillo’s “Cosmopolis,” should suit Pattinson down to the ground.)
As for “Bel Ami,” the R-Patz fan community may well investigate it out of curiosity – and it certainly shows their idol in more explicit situations than they’ve seen before. But it’s unlikely to appeal greatly to them; in truth, it’s skewed to older audiences, who may appreciate the themes underlying de Maupassant’s story without them being explicitly spelled out.

Kinda sad. Some of the great actors like Nicholson, Cruise, Hanks, De Niro, Pacino, etc. They study their roles and get the body language down to a tee. They become that part, it’s like you’re watching the real thing. That is what a great actor is made of. Either Rob just doesn’t have it, or he’s lazy. Could it be both? He’s not gonna continue on his stardom if he doesn’t step up to the plate.
No Maria his role model is Miss twitchy, Kristenchin Stewart. He has learnt it all from her. 🙄

He is not terrible by any means, and we were really trying to like him in the role for a long time, but eventually his twitchiness, which seems like a factor of inexperience and nervousness, unites with script and characterisation problems to alienate us from his role in a way that has nothing to do with the character’s nastiness. It is as though Pattinson hasn’t yet gained the confidence on camera to do less, and so in his many closeups there is always one too many things going on — the nostril flare coupled with the eye twitch along with the twist of the mouth becomes an overwhelming cavalcade of tics when your face is thirty feet high. It’s one of the reasons why we can never forget in this film that Pattinson is Acting; he feels like he is wearing the character like a suit of clothes or a layer of makeup, rather than inhabiting him. Yes, we’re going home to find a horse’s head in our bed tonight, aren’t we? But while he is not there yet, we have to say that there’s no reason that Pattinson, in the hands of a director more experienced with the demands of film than theater (the debut directors here have a background in theatre and perhaps have not quite appreciated just how much the movie camera acts as a performance magnifying glass), shouldn’t turn in a better, more understated performance. After all, in the one “Twilight” film this writer has seen to date, we seem to recall he does a lot less, and he has been accused of woodenness before. If he just splits the difference between that and this…

He looks like he’s over it. Not just with the hipster attitude that he adapted from the “Best actress of her generation” but also with his career. He wants to be the next Brando, carrying all the deep books so that paps catch him with it yet he hasn’t shown anything to be called even a mediocre talent. Only the Twilight hype keeps him in the media.
BF on the other hand knows she can’t compete with the other actresses so she has hired the most aggressive PR team that bullies her into film projects even if it’s just tabloid gossip but it gives the impression she is sought after. She will survive even if she has to play a mute parody version of Snow White as long as she is paid and has great actos elevating the films for her: Charlize.

Rache, I think it is normal for his family to be there on the RC with him. They have done it for all his films premiere’s, to the point of going to the US for WFE and doing the premiere’s in Europe with him. They do show him more support than either Mama “the man” Shrew or Papa Shrew have ever shown THEIR offspring. I wonder why that is. Strange because most parents want to support their kids. Poor Robert Pattinson: The weight of proving himself, in a movie that doesn’t have the words “Twilight” and “Saga” in the title, is shaping up to be heavier than a vampire’s curse. In last year’s Water for Elephants, he had a charming naivete, a seemingly natural shyness that was wholly inoffensive, if not exactly memorable. And as social schemer Georges Duroy in Bel Ami, playing here at the Berlinale out of competition on the festival’s next-to-last day, he works harder to redeem himself than any actor should have to: He applies a scowl from Column A with an eyebrow furrow from Column B to express displeasure; Smirk No. 4 denotes a moment of extreme hubris. The effect is like watching an athlete trying not to break a sweat – you might want to root for him, but there’s a part of you that just wants him to let it all out already.
What is it about the guy? Under the direction of first-time filmmakers Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, who have directed mostly for the London stage, Pattinson isn’t half-bad. He doesn’t overreach, which perhaps saves him from embarrassment. But he expends so much energy in his desire to be subtle that he’s the exact opposite of subtle — yet he doesn’t just go all the way and take the performance over the top. Duroy is a fellow of modest means, rattling around Paris bedding the women of influential men to increase his own wealth and power. (The movie was adapted, by Rachel Bennette, from Guy de Maupaussant’s second novel, and it’s a foamy — if somewhat snoozy — bit of picturesque entertainment.)
The problem may be that the women around Pattinson run circles around him. They’re the ones you remember, from Uma Thurman’s politically astute Madeleine Forestier, to Kristin Scott Thomas’s mouselike, aging skinny-minny Virginie Walters, to Christina Ricci’s Belle Époch sexpot Clotilde de Marelle. Pattinson, despite the fact that his character is trying to dominate these women, looks a little afraid of them: Perhaps paradoxically, he has more erotic wattage when he’s playing wan Victorian valentine Edward Cullen, his character in the Twilight movies. Here, in his stiff collars and glossy top-hats, he looks like a very lean bird dressed up for dinner, only he’s the one on the plate.
I’m wondering how an actor like Pattinson, a guy who’s had so much teenage longing projected onto him he’s practically a walking piece of fan fiction, can ever unravel the tight knots of his own self-consciousness. Or if he can. Watching him in Bel Ami, I found myself hoping he’d rally, looking for subtle glimmers of awareness that might suggest he knows he’s supposed to make us believe he’s a cad, not just act like one. He’s trying so hard — why can’t he use those lizardlike eyes, that cat-that-ate-the-canary smile, in the service of making us forget who he is? Maybe it’s because he can’t forget who he is. And that’s the stiffest, tightest collar any young actor can wear.
