OMG, THG was so good!!! I saw it this afternoon when there wasn’t a big crowd. All the actors are really good, so believable, and the action was phenomenal. Now THAT was a movie, and THAT was an excellent actress. No bitchfaces, no dead fish eyes, no butchiness, no monotone, no twitching/nostril flaring/head shaking. Jennifer Lawrence looks 16! I don’t know how they did it. And she has hips like a real female. The love triangle was not the focus at all -it was so subtle which made it POWERFUL. Katniss’s (and Peeta’s) fear and bravery and intelligence and strength and compassion are what was focused on – and the special effects were fantastic. I’m so glad it turned out amazing! I WILL go see it again.
I’m predicting a date night tomorrow. THG is out and, as Lisa mentioned on a previous board, there’s a Marcus Foster gig in LA. Golden opportunity 🙄

I admit that I find the teaser-trailer fascinating ’cause it captures the essential parts of the book and Rob is just as how I visualised Eric Packer while reading. Perhaps you are right, Click, and it might be due to the fast editing but now I am really curious about the movie.
Everything looks interesting except him. His face is frozen. He just doesn’t have that strong manly charisma. He’s a boy.
Trying to draw in the fangirls with that clip? All I see is bob posing like a model, looking very girly. Ny accent NOT, sounds more like Tyler from RM.

Ok, I’ll be in the minority here but I’m intrigued by Cosmopolis. I thought the teaser was good…strange and confusing for sure…but peaked my interest anyway. It’s also getting good buzz from everyone outside of the fandom. I saw a lot of comments from men who hate Twilight and Edward Cullen say this is making them give Rob a second look. There are alot of Cronenberg junkies who are prone to loathe Twilight and anything associated with it who say it looks awesome. IMO, this is exactly what Rob needed. Lose the twimoms for once and get some male fans or at least get them to stop hating him. lol

I’m not sold on a 30 second teaser but I didn’t see anything wrong either. The gun holding? Eric is a banker not a gangster. That doesn’t surprise me.It may even be intentional. And yeah he’s supposed to be buff, but DC hired him knowing what he looked like so maybe that was okay with him. I can’t haterade on Rob for being hired by someone who controls the vision. That’s DC’s problem not Rob’s. And those faithful to the book may not be cool with the changes. IDK.
I’m interested to see how he pulls this off–or if he can. I think this movie will split his fanbase even further because it’s such a strange movie I’m not sure a lot of his fans will be into it. Which, of course, I think Rob does on purpose because he has the WORST PR PLAN EVER (aka: no pr plan).

It’s a good movie and he was very good.
I loved Drive and was pretty disappointed it did not get an Oscar nom. A film with real atmosphere, interesting soundtrack and Gosling was fab.
Imagine P. in the role of Gosling in “Drive” and you’ll see the difference between them. P. could never play a menacing guy that still draws the audiance on his side.

I don’t even know how to explain The Hunger Games, girls it was AMAZING. I lughed and cried (i don’t cry ever) and I jumped out of my seat a few times. I was on edge all night. All the actors in that movie made this film what it is. It is a must see for sure I am seeing it again next week as my sons class is going, I never see a movie more than once I am more than willing ot see this movie AGAIN!

Just got back from seeing The Hunger Games, and if this movie doesn’t make Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson look like complete fucking amateur I don’t know what does. Jennifer Lawrence in particular makes Stewart’s slouching, tic ridden ‘acting’ look like a total shitshow. JLaw is the new Queen B. Stewart should be watching her back.
They also showed the trailer to Snow White and cut out Stewart almost entirely. She had no dialogue at all.

LOL. I certainly felt the same way when I saw the trailer at THG. Loved Charlize Theron, but “Ugh, Kristen Stewart. She’s so stupid. And dead eyed.” People also groaned at the BD2 teaser, and laughed at the last shot of Bella in a party dress and massive makeup eyeing a deer in the forest. omg, Rob’s voice was so wooden and annoyingly slow.
That naked picture of Rob…sorry but imo he looks “special needs” and pasty despite the reddish lighting. His voice in the trailer is again so wooden and dead. Maybe that’s why DC cast him. The character needed an actor who acts disconnected and monotone.
I heard there was a lot of laughter at the BD trailer.
As for COSMO in 30 seconds you really have not time to see any acting. I just saw the same blank expression but I am “sure he will prove me wrong”!!!!!
At the end of the day you could have put Zac Efron in the same clips and the pic would have looked the same IMO
IKR and they will feel like idiots if the movie comes out and he doesn’t deliver no way can jusde someones acting on 30 sec or i could be an actress!!! Maybe they thought he needed a break and most of all DC’s last movie was so hyped and did not deliver and DC fans want him to deliver this time. I don’t see it but what do I know;)

What he has pulled off is getting his arse in a DC film. DC has faithful followers that love his films as dark and different from others as they are. 30 seconds does not make him the Oscar worthy but it gave hope to DC fans that after his last flop, DC is back and made a possibly good film. Wasn’t WFE supposed to be his break out movie as well? Mmm, yeah, I think it was. I’m beginning to see a pattern emerging here. For all the talk of “break out movies” and Oscar noms, we then get a major flop. If I was DC, I wouldn’t get my hopes up that Cosmo will be a roaring success.

You know, this guy used to seem kind of cool (in an offbeat, dorky Brit-dude way) when he first got famous. Now he seems to be as up his own ass and obnoxious as his dirty brat of a co-star/fake girlfriend. Pattinson and Stewart seem like arrogant little rich kids who need to come down off that high horse and stop trying to be rebels without a cause, I absolutely cannot stand Pattinson and Stewart for their poser, edgy, artist, faux hipster douchebag attitude. It astounds me how they cannot see how lucky they got considering how totally void in charisma and talent they truly are. But what I think I hate about them the most is that they are just so fucking lacking in talent and yet they seem completely convinced about how edgy and wonderful and special they really are.
Hopefully they really google themselves and see they are the only ones that are high on themselves. They are not the it thing anymore and come off as spoiled, nasty, arrogant brats!

Just got back from seeing THG and it was awesome! JL had me crying more than once. Her strength was totally believable, as were her times of weakness, fear, grief, confusion, disbelief, disgust, etc.
I saw the SWATH trailer too, minus Shrew’s whispers. Thankfully she didnt speak in the Breaking Wind trailer either.
And so the very predictable date night is being tweeted and posted on Robsten sites.You’ll never guess where? Yep MF gig and Soho house….. 🙄
You would have thought that having had some positive press about a movie that you would not want to turn it full circle back to the epic love but perhaps yet again the relay will sell better than the film. 😯 I know shocking is it not?

I just got home a little while ago and saw all the fuckery. Everyone already predicted it was going to happen. A date night with 20 other people. And of course all the sheep Flocked to the concert ASAP to witness the epic love. Marcus needs to get robsten to make an appearance more often so that way he can sell tickets like they are going out of style.

One thing i noticed this time, nobdy mentioned any “supposed pda” btw them…seems to me that both were there to support their friend and nothing more.
