Long ago before wicked twitter came along, there was this thing that reporters use to do called FACT CHECKING. Apparently that is not required any longer in order to put out a story about a celeb. Did you know you can tweet a celeb sighting and certain outlets coughE!cough will post it without first checking if that celeb was spotted somewhere else or not wearing what was described, for arguments sake lets say AT AN INTERVIEW WITH REAL REPORTERS. And to top it off there was photographic proof of it! This misrepresentation snowballs out of control because other non fact checking gossip sites regurgitate it as FACT. Well today that came to an end when a brave fan called out a reporter for doing this exact thing. I admire her for going out on a limb and calling a spade a spade. ByeByeDreamBt brought attention to the media what bad reporting can cause. To back her up, GC debunked the obvious fake sighting, which is something they never do because it is a fan sightings word against the theirs. To be honest I believe Nick picked up that phone before GC could even think about debunking it. The reason I believe this is Rob and Kristen have moved on and Rob has been concentrating on Dior these past 3 days, then E! reports this obvious fake sighting to take the wind out of that sail. In my opinion, Nick was having none of that and for the first time debunked a sighting of Robsten together. If this is not an eye opener for sheep to move on and let go, then I don’t know what else is.
I am glad GC debunked this because ByeByeDreamBt was getting called out by sheep and they said she was a laughing stock. Well who is the laughing stock now? Not only that, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THAT IS THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK!!!! Um I believe a sheep said “Kristen must not be wearing her ring because she was baking and forgot to put it back on.” Wait is gets better, “Is that a lighter in her pocket? I bet she was on her way to a BBQ” I sh&t you not these are real quotes. The best ever is the theory that fans and paps are photo shopping Kristen’s ring off her finger. Ok that is LOL worthy and not even debunk able…….
In conclusion lets hope after this embarrassment, reporters go back to good old fashion fact checking;)

I have learned a great deal from this situation. I truly have. The amount of emotion that was whipped up by unconfirmed sighting that was dodgy from the get go is a huge lesson to all of us about how easily led we are to believe what we want to believe, and how we suspend good sense in some areas of our lives, but can be pretty damn functional in others.
As I have always maintained, never saw the love, Don’t expect a reconciliation unless it is needed for PR reasons. Am only a bit surprised that this relationship died rather quietly and was minimally touched upon by the tabloids that made a fortune off of them for four years.I think the relationship ran its course when it no longer brought in money.
Does that make them whores? Well, IMO, it makes them entertainers. Because of social media and the insatiable need for information, they were always on the clock to sell this illusion. Actors act, and it seems that the stage has become a greater part of their lives than ever before. If my theory is true, then the mood swings, mixed signals, and the huge disparity between who they said they were and who they turned out to be can all be attributed to them fighting with, then coming to terms with the realization that their lives were part of the purchase price

On many occasions have had sightings whiff of being false, the sheep take all sightings that put R/K together as word of law. In most of the cases could not debunk because we were not sure of where R/K were at the time of the sighting. This time it was easily provable that the sighting was fake. Supposedly a family member is suffering from a terminal disease and that’s why she’s not blogging much.

I agree. I think that people project onto him entirely too much. He has always come off as very awkward around women and lacking in self esteem. Now that he is famous he likely doesn’t have to work to get sex, but that doesn’t mean he wants it under those conditions.I have always hoped that he has a girlfriend who he shares his feelings with, who encourages him through the bullshit. I suspect that from his perspective, and he has alluded to this, this fame is fleeting and superficial, and if you look at all of those who came before and fizzled, his isn’t really that special. He’s smart enough to see this and not to take it seriously. Therefore, he hangs with his friends, lends them his fame, and looks to the future. I do get a masculine vibe from Kristen and she does seem to light up around women, but I think she is so unsure of herself and she has had so little opportunity to live in the real world, that we won’t know for sure for a while. She wanted Rupert. She desired him and loved the power. She loved the word games with the press. She loved having a secret life. But did she love HIM? Don’t know.

Yes! And it was very clear to me that he knew that the attraction was not to him, but to Edward, or to fame, or to what they wanted him to represent. I am not saying that he is a monk, but if he is single, it would probably be a very lonely feeling to screw someone you don’t have true bond with. Sort of like using them to get off. And if he does do that, he’d likely drink a lot first. I have a few male friends who are awkward around women and the lack of a true bond is their obstacle. If someone is insecure, making himself vulnerable to another in a sexual situation takes liquid courage.

I think lots of people expect him to be either gay or a manwhore because a normal, most frequent behavior is too boring. IMO, it’s perfectly normal in his age to have only one serious long-term girlfriend, which was Nina if we don’t count K. I don’t think Twilight made it easier for him, if something, all those crazy women probably scared him for life. It’s not like he had enough time to build a serious relationship anyway. He was constantly traveling or working. Of course it’s possible he has one night stands but I doubt it’s something he will discuss in public. It’s also possible he has certain standards and he doesn’t feel like sleeping with random women.
