This was definitely a party to be seen and heard. Rob wants to be a big Hollywood player. Rob is known to be very private person, but by throwing this party for his friend he was also showing the power that his name brings. Even though the party was for a friend, he showing everyone what kind of people he wants to be connected with. I’m sure Kristian didn’t want to associate with those people and should rather hang out with her gang. Rob is trying to network, because in the entertainment business it is important to conect with the right people, something Kristen should think about if she wants to keep working in HW.
I am not sure I see something to support the desire to be a big Hollywood player. I think he just wants it all on his terms. I think that it hasn’t been on his terms from the beginning and that this is purposeful.
I still remember the look on his face when Hardwicke’s story about him needing to be warned away from Kristen was circulating. He didn’t have a freaking chance. Two months ago, he was linked with Kristen, a woman generally looked down upon in the community. Now he is the face of Dior, He has a chance to rebrand himself. But the guest list isn’t big Hollywood types. It’s creative people. It’s not people with power, but people who write, who bring stories to life. Rob never has to work again. I suspect that his terms are less glitz and glamour and more art. He is a thinking person who has had a very limited audience for the entirety of his fame. So I don’t see him following too many well worn paths at this point.

I went to see Man of Steel tonight (I know, I’m late to THAT party, but my schedule is so jacked), and I might even go again next weekend, with another friend who couldn’t go tonight.. I went with a guy friend and his girl, and we 3 loved it. We all came away thrilled and talked about the movie all the way home.
Henry totally devastated my Hot-meter. Effects were excellent, the Krypton backstory was right, and I loved that Lois Lane wasn’t annoying at all. She was an attribute to the plot and an ally to to Superman, without being a pain in the ass at all. Oh, and did I mentioned how fantastic Henry is?

I’ve been by Rob’s house. My uncle lives near there. That front gate is very impressive in person. Alot of beautiful sorta “old hollywood” style homes and area. I can totally see him living there and not in the newer more “posh” part of L.A. such as Bel Air and Beverly Hills. Los Feliz suits Rob. I’m glad for him that he’s achieved this success. Well if it’s true that Emilie was there then that’s nice that he’s remained friends with her. She always seemed like a really nice easy going down to earth person . At the time she was filming Remember Me with Rob I believe she had separated from her husband but I have no idea if she divorced him or got back together. When I discover this blog 2 years ago, I was going through a divorce because my husband had cheated on me. Everyday before bed I would spent time reading every post, and it made me laugh so loud, sometimes that laughter would turn into tears. So it got me through a lot. I guess for me this blog is now no different than gossip cop which is full of sheeps and Krissy’s fans except that these are Rob fans but are just as mean and as delusional and crazy as the sheeps.

I agree on some level with you the thing is Rob gets a free pass. He is the victim in this PR game even though Kristen gets crucified for it. What he said years ago in interviews is excusable but Kristen is still a bitch based on interviews she done in the past. I can’t hold someone accountable for how others interpret their behavior and choices. The entire time that Rob “took back” Kristen, I know that it was for PR because the last film had to break records to save face. He made no public statement in her defense. He wasn’t seen behaving lovingly towards her. He did what was required to show a united front and nothing more. His responsibility was not to Liberty and her kids. It wasn’t to the critics who softened their judgement in the face of his humiliation. It was to his employers.

They’re in different parts of the world working on their own careers. They are actors/musicians and have to be where the work is. He is one of the guys in the Isle of Wight previous New Year’s Eve outings. You can google Jamie if you’re curious as to what he does.
It seems, the more he hung with k, the less he hung with them. Maybe, it will take time for he and the “britpack” to get back together. It’s been years(the showmance). I’m sure many of his friends have their own lives, responsibilities. Friends do drift, but not necessarily stop caring. Sometimes, friends get pissed on, and cut ties, for good. The runners of Robsessed have traveled from place to place to watch Cosmopolis. I think the main blogger there bought 10 tickets to that film. And said on her blog “Buy tickets and make Rob’s dream come true, his dream that Cosmopolis should make more money than TDKR” Well, I knew she was getting a little too crazy about him. At least she’s young, its okay. I am not judging her. But those older women are the creeps. You know they do this 365 days of Rob thing right. Once they did this 44 days of Rob last year and had one dedicated to his bare-chest. I very shockingly saw a full-nude pic of his in that post. Ewwww… i got scared actually. I scrolled down to the comments and everyone was fangirling, it was very disturbing.
Have you ever paid attention to the women in the crowds during any promotion Rob does? It’s almost a stark raving mad appearance in their facial expressions when they try to get his attention. Such desperation. It’s really sad when you stop to think about it.
